Add background colour to arabic text, and format (bold, italic, etc)

  Hi, I am keen to sign up to the WordPress platform, however can you confirm if the platform supports arabic text and that I have the capability to format the text and apply background colours. I have a number of emails that contain arabic content, and some of the text is formatted (i.e. background is yellow or bold).

  Thanks for writing to us. Yes, you can apply text characteristics like italics, bold, underline to any font on the site. Background colors could also be applied through html.

  Both your WordPress.com account interface and your blog can use the Arabic language.

  Under General Settings you’ll find that language option.
