Add background image around the content and sidebar area

  I want to add vertically a background image to the left of the content area and to the right of the sidebar area…
  this is my blog http://protovouliakavalas.squat.gr/

  I have added an image background on the top… in the end I would like the images to form a Π…

  What should I do?
