Add banner image with an iNove theme
-
Hi. I am trying to add an image as a banner on my blog. (I’m using iNove as a theme because of its AWESOME drop-down menu for sub-pages feature.)
I followed the instructions here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/inove-theme-options?replies=9#post-372470 and here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/can-i-change-my-blog-headeri-use-inove-theme-with-some-picture?replies=3#post-404680 but i just can’t get my image to appear. The URL for my image is http://pertharchitecture.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/original-linework3.jpg and when I click on that is seems fine.
Any ideas?

The source code of your page shows no banner. You need to paste this in the Banner box:
<img style="padding-top:10px;" src="http://pertharchitecture.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/original-linework3.jpg" />
And make sure you’ve ticked the “Who can see?” boxes. -
Thanks, but it still refuses to show up. Is there something wrong with the image perhaps? I have modified it to 60 px high, as required. Just not sure what i’m doing wrong.

Nothing wrong with the image. I put up in my test blog (using iNove theme) and it works fine, just using Panos’s code.
Are you “saving changes?”

Oh i am so silly. I had the Who Can See? set to visitors – didn’t understand you had to tick all of them!!
Thanks for your help all. -

You’re welcome.
(“Little things you don’t see” included boxes in plural in my reply above.)
