Add blog subscribe widget to my own webpage
-
Hi, I’m wondering if it is possible to place the blog subscription widget on my own business webpage. I’ve successfully added the RSS feed for my blog content so that it displays on my webpage. But I’d like to add a little box on the side where people can subscribe to my blog while on my webpage. Does this make sense? Does wordpress have html code I can copy and paste into my website? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you say “my webpage” are you referring to a wordpress.com blog? I ask because the widgets we have here are only for wordpress.com blog.s
-
No, my website is hosted by GoDaddy – so I guess that means I can’t place a “subscribe to my blog” widget on my GoDaddy website?
-
The widgets we have here are only for wordpress.com blogs and we provide support ONLY for blogs being free hosted by wordpress.com here.

Okay. Thank you for clarifying. I wasn’t intending to ask for support that wasn’t appropriate to ask for on this forum. My apologies.

No problem at all. How would you know if you didn’t ask? :) This is a wpMU (multiuser) blogging platform. All questions about blogs and sites hosted by anyone other than wordpress.com must be posted to this forum > http://wordpress.ORG/support as the two run on different software.
Here’s a link to a summary of the differences > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ -
Hi, I have a blog hosted for free on wordpress.com and i would like to add a subscribe to my blog widget for the users to enter their email addresses, How can i do that? Thanks in advance for your help.

1. Scroll up to the top of this very page just above the blue box and find “Support” and click it.
2. When the page opens look in the right hand column and click “Widgets & Sidebars”.
3. When that page opens click “Widgets & Sidebars”
4. When that page opens follow the instructions you find there.
Hope this helps. :) -
