add borders in the header boxes ?

    I want a more 3D look to my blog and thought adding inset borders at the top of each box would move in that direction but I can’t figure out how to write it for just the boxes in the header.

    Hi there,

    It sounds like you want to create a smaller header area, that is closer to the width of the blog and sidebar columns below. Is that correct?

    Because of the way your theme is coded, there is not really a “box” that you can draw a border around. The header itself is full width, with the blog title and logo positioned in the middle.

    You may be able to “fake it” however, by adding an graphic into the header area that is closer to the width you need, with your borders and whatnot in the graphic itself.

    Optionally, it may be better to start with a theme that is not “full width” as this one is, and may find it easier to customize something that is closer to your needs, rather than try to make this one work for you.

    That explains why I couldn’t find the code I was looking for, too. I will try your suggestion of trying some other themes.
