add categories to published posts

    I have ten posts I’ve already published. I would like to attach categories to them to get more readers. How do I do this? The instructions only tell you how to attach categories to posts BEFORE they are published.

    Dashboard >> Posts >> All Posts

    Check the boxes for the ones you want to Edit.

    You’ll see a menu box above and below the list. Select Edit, then Apply.

    You should see a list of the selected post titles , then a list of your Categories with tick boxes. Select the Categories you want, then click the teal colored “Update” button towards the right of the page.
