Add click-through picture to site

One of my best friends has developed a new vitamin that is geared toward the type of audience that frequents our blog. To support him as such as I can, I would like to add a permanent photo as a sort of header on our blog that clicks through to his website. It doesn’t have to be a header; having it on the side of the page under our widgets would be alright as well. I have an html code and everything, but am not sure how to go about getting it on to our site page. Thanks !

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

What you can do is have him provide an image of his site’s logo. Upload the logo to your Media Library using the instructions in this help article:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/

And then grab the link for that image. You can then go to your widgets menu and add a Text widget and enter the following code (making sure to substitute the URLs with a link to your friend’s site and the link to the image which you uploaded):

    <a href="http://yourfriendswebsite.com/"><img src="http://http://mstachemusic.files.wordpress.com/thelogowhichyouuploaded.jpg" border="0"></a>

Let me know if you’ve got any questions!
