add comments to bottom of each post
-
I want to have the reply/comments box on each post, not just on the pages. How can I do that? My current theme is photolia, if it is not possible to do that on photolia, what theme does have comments on the bottom of each post? Also, I would like my readers to be able to read the full comments that other people leave, how do you do that?
My blog url is not wordpress.comThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
If you want to allow comments on all posts, please go to Posts > All posts in your Dashboard. Then select all posts by checking the box left of “Title”. Then, go to the drop down menu labeled “Bulk Actions” and select “Edit”. Click on “Apply”, and you will see another dropdown menu next to “Comments”. Select “Allow”, and click “Update”.
This should enable Comments on all the blog posts you checked off.
Also, I would like my readers to be able to read the full comments that other people leave, how do you do that?
Your readers can view the comments by viewing the individual post as seen here:

Thank you, Grace, again. Your site certainly doesn’t make any of this user friendly – but you did just prevent me from jumping ship. Now my only complaint, and I may be wrong about this, is that readers can only see 15 comments (I should be so lucky) when other food blogs, like Smitten Kitchen, one can read all comments (often over 200). Any way we can do that here?
And hopefully my last request, I don’t seem to be able to get the font size to my liking in the body of my copy. If I leave it at 0, it looks like it’s for the visually impaired. When I go down to -1, it’s smaller than I want. Anything I can do?
As usual, thanks for your help. Soon we will BFFs

Hi Grace again
I did all you suggested and the comments and reply box are not appearing. Any other suggestions?

actually, it’s worse. Now not only is there no place to leave comments, you can’t even see the 3 comments that people who were committed enough to figure out left.

Hi there,
I did all you suggested and the comments and reply box are not appearing… actually, it’s worse. Now not only is there no place to leave comments, you can’t even see the 3 comments that people who were committed enough to figure out left.
It is normal for blog posts on your main blog feed (http://wheatfreedairyfreekitchen.com/) to display without sharing/like buttons or existing comments/comment forms. That is done both to keep the feed neat and tidy, as well as improve page load speed.
If you visit any single blog post (http://wheatfreedairyfreekitchen.com/2014/01/30/gluten-free-oat-pancakes/) you will see all of these features displayed.
This behavior will make more sense when you have added more posts to your site, as there is only one post to display in your “feed” for now, so I can understand why there would be some confusion.
You can use this behavior to your benefit (and tidy up your blog feed further) by creating manual excerpts at the point in your text that you choose, which will truncate your blog entries so that only that portion of text is displayed, along with a “read more” link pointing the reader to the full post.
You can do this by using the More Tag in your text editor.
Once you have added the More Tag to all your blog posts, visitors to your site will see short teasers for all the posts in your feed, and be encouraged to click on the link to continue reading, as well as like, share, and comment, on your post.
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
