"Add Contact Form" button missing…?
-
Apologies if this has been dealt with elsewhere, I did have a search around but nothing seemed to address this issue.
In the page editor I don’t have buttons for either Add Contact Form or Add Poll, only Add Media.
This is using .com rather than .org, so I don’t think that’s the issue.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. I’m guessing you’re using the Beep Beep Boop editor? Last time I checked that editor didn’t have the form and poll buttons. You’ll need to use the classic editor to use those features.
In the Reader, click on the My Sites link. When that page loads, click the WP-Admin link for the website in question. Once on the classic dashboard, click on Posts ->Add New to create a new post or Posts ->All Posts to edit existing ones. Or the same options under Pages. That will give you the classic editor with the buttons for forms and polls.
Keep in mind you can also insert contact form directly by using the shortcode. Instructions for that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

Aha, there’s the classic editor! I thought it was something like that as the Contact Form ‘how to’ page made reference to it but I couldn’t work out how to change between classic and Beep Beep Boop.
Many thanks, much obliged.

At the bottom of the new editor should be a link to switch to classic view. If you click that and have cookies enabled in your browser it should take you there automatically the next time.
Glad I could help.
