Add contact form Error
-
Hi – I added a new contact form in one of my pages and it appears well & fine. When people fill the contact form and hit submit, I receive e-mail notification of the same. But in the feedback page when I select that particular comment to approve or select “Not Spam” I do not see any options except for Move to Trash.
Please help…
SolThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There are no other options. There is nowhere on the website to display things which are submitted via the Contact Form. The idea is you will read it and then trash it or leave it there.

Oh Thank you for that info. Is there a way I can make it happen. I really want some kind of a form set up that allows people to share their requests.
I read few articles about plugins, but I do not see a plugin option in my site. -
You seem to be wanting people to leave comments – make sure the comments are turned on for what ever page / post you want the feedback from –
common error is to put a Contact Form in a Post or Page – the Contact Form then shows ABOVE the Comment which is hidden at the bottom of the page under the fill in the boxes contact form
Get rid of the contact form and put a note to the effect “leave your feedback and suggestions in the comment form below”

Well, definitely your suggestion of using the feedback form as a substitute for “Add Contact Form” is a good find and I will surely consider it.
But, do you mind helping me to make a formal “Add contact form”?
Also, please can you help me why I am not able to see the plugin options in my dashboard even when I login as a wpadmin.Thank you,
Sol -
Put the contact form on a Page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/
the Page should show up in your menu bar automatically unless you are using a Custom Menu – if you are using a Custom Menu then just add the new page to it
Plugin’s are not allowed at WordPress.COM – it is a security and performance issue as a bad plugin can crash a lot of blogs – we have a ton more Widgets than standard WordPress.ORG blogs as well as Short Codes built in –
Is there some fancy Plugin you don’t think you can live without?
