add contributor and not start on dashboard

  Is there a way to add a user as contributor, but make sure that when he logs in he goes to the site not to a dashboard? would rather send him directly (back) to the front page of the blog he’s part of.

  No, there’s no way to do that. When you log in, you go to the dashboard.

  Which is where a contributor would contribute.
