Hi there,
You can do this using Custom CSS, which is part of your Custom Design upgrade.
To add custom CSS, go to Appearance > Customize in your dashboard and select CSS from the Customize tools. In the CSS editor, you can enter the following CSS:
.copytext:before { content: "0a9 Your Name Here A"; white-space: pre-wrap; }If you want the text all on one line, you can remove the “A” (but leave the end quotation mark). Please let me know how that works for you!
If you have additional CSS questions, most of our CSS support is done in our community forums by both staff and volunteers:

It looks like our forums took out some of the characters in the CSS code that I gave you. To create the copyright symbol, instead of 0a9 you’ll want to enter the following without any spaces between the characters:
0 0 a 9 -
Hi Rachel,
Thanks for your help and sorry for my late reply.
ive just tried this:
.copytext:before {
content: .copytext:before {;
content: “00a9 L.Vargas A”;
white-space: pre-wrap;
}
I copied it directly on the CSS editor page
but somehow it does not work.Im sure im doing it wrong… not very good with these things!! but dont know what.
Do you know what im doing wrong??
Thanks for your time and your help.

Hi Laura – You nearly had it, but it was a bit incorrect. Take a look at what’s there now and let me know what you think. :)

Hi Laura – Our CSS editor was stripping out the copyright code that Rachel gave you. I couldn’t figure out how to make it stay, so I spelled out Copyright instead. Does that work for you?

Dear Eurello,
Thank you for your help and your time.
Actually could you show me how to do it, as I have changed my mind on what to write and dont want to be bothering you.Ideally I would like to have the copyright sign followed by 2013 kanica (in capital letters)
so it would look like this:
© 2013 KANICA
Do you think that is possible?
Thank you again and sorry for the hassle.
Best regards,
Laura -
Hi Laura – You can customize the text however you like; just go to Appearance->Customize here:
https://kanicablog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fkanicablog.wordpress.com%2FClick the CSS tab and you’ll see my modification. Edit the Copyright L. Vargas text only, but leave those brackets and the quotation marks, semicolons, and the /A (which is what makes the line break).
I can’t figure out how to make the copyright symbol itself work, however, so for that, I’d ask advice from the experts in the CSS forum here:

Dear Eurello,
I spoke too fast!!!
I have managed to add the copyright sign. I just copy paste it and it works!
however now i cant manage to add a space between copyright kanica… and theme by word press.I type this on the CSS: A
and it works, i save it and it still works but somehow when i refresh the page it all appears on one line.
What am I doing wrong’?
Thanks again for your help… i will get there ; )
