Add copyright notice to existing footer & edit URL

  Hi there,

  Two queries:

  1. I’d like to add a copyright notice to my existing footer.

  2. I would also like to edit the URL Is it possible to do this without losing my customization/ content?

  Hello Elisa,

  1. I’d like to add a copyright notice to my existing footer.

  Sketch theme probably does not have an inbuilt way to add the copyright info to the footer. However if you are on a WordPress.COM Premium or Business plan you add a this CSS code:

  .site-footer:after {
      content: "copyright © 2017 • All rights reserved";
  }

  to display copyright information on the footer.

  Thanks for your reply! (I did reply the other day but my post it disappeared).

  I am using the free .com version for now. I don’t know CSS so a little hesitant to upgrade to premium just for this. I was hoping to buy a plug in that would do the trick.

  If I change my URL name will all of my customisation and content remain?
