Add Copyright to footer?
-
Thank you timetheif for being clear with your response! I will do it now :-)
Alleluia! lol :D

@aimeebourke, put a text widget into the sidebar, or into the footer widget area with the linked text you want in it. Then we can give you the CSS to move that text widget down and into the footer area where you want it.

They were both unclear that it was only a first step rather than a final fix.
Really? Quoting my reply (again):
In that case you must first drag an untitled Text widget into one of the footer widget areas and create the link in it.

I was referring to this but now I’m over and I’m out.
For example on your site, Justpi, http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/
I know what you meant Timethief, i was simply using it as an example visually, to explain what i meant. I didn’t realise they knew what i meant and were simply asking me to do it as a first step in a process as mentioned above.
Sorry everyone for all the confusion and trouble I’ve caused :-(

Sorry justpi, it still simply reads to someone who clearly has no idea, that its a 1,2 step in itself. I meant no offense in my previous comment :-( I’m sorry!
Ok i have done as asked, whats next?
And thank you all for putting up with me for this long, it is greatly appreciated! :-)

Here you go. Add the following below your existing custom CSS and it moves the text down and to the left. If you want to adjust the position, you can change the bottom and left values as desired.
#container { position: relative; } #text-5 { position: absolute; bottom: 7px; left: 20px; } -

Hi. I would like to do the same operation. I tried to follow the instructions written here, but it does not work. Is it because my theme is different (Forefront)
Thanks in advance for your help:) -
Is it because my theme is different (Forefront)
Please start your own thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1 knowing all CSS editing is theme specific and we keep these threads focused on a single theme.
