Add DNS record for blog.innovated.ro

  I’ve tried to add a Zone Record for the domain blog.innovated.ro but it asked me to contact support. Could you please add the Zone Record for me?

  the suggested command was:

  blog.innovated.ro. 14400 IN CNAME programatinromania.wordpress.com.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It seems that the domain doesn’t contain a CNAME record yet, please follow the steps in this guide on how to complete your subdomain mapping:

  I need further assistence in adding the CNAME record because:

  1. my domain registrar & hosting provider said they cannot do it (it should be done on the WP side)

  2. I’ve tried to add the CNAME setting through the WP as the support link you provided describes and it did not work

  3. I’ve tried to add a DNS zone record for my domain using a WP form at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/dns-zone-records/ but it did not work too.

  Actually I need you to perform the configuration as I’m not able to do it using the tools and the documentation you’ve provided.

  I’ve been able to add the following CNAME setting in the DNS setting in WP for my subdomain.

  CNAME programatinromania.wordpress.com blog.innovated.ro.

  I’m not sure if this is the right command.

  That CNAME record needs to be added at the control panel of your domain registrar (host vision).

  As you can see there hasn’t been a CNAME record added yet, that’s why the domain doesn’t redirect to your WordPress.com blog:

  https://www.whatsmydns.net/?_token=S1Q5oikRl6xvMoCLQdjPS0mEw0bzurUT7UdsbwoV#CNAME/innovated.ro

  Actually I want to redirect from programatinromania.wordpress.com to blog.innovated.ro, not viceversa.

  In this case my understanding is the setting need to be done on the WP side.

  Please clarify.

  I see! I’ve just changed your Domain Mapping upgrade in a Site Redirect. It seems to be working fine now :)
