I’ve tried to add a Zone Record for the domain chrisefranklin.co.za but it asked me to contact support. Could you please add the Zone Record for me?

Hi there, a zone record exists for that domain and I see you’ve been able to map it to your site. If you’d like to set chrisefranklin.co.za as the primary domain so users see it in the address bar, just head over to Store > Domains.

If I make chrisefranklin.co.za my primary domain, my blog automatically redirects to http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

It actually works if I use a different browser. What would be the reason behind that? Something to do with the caching?
How do I prevent other people from having a similar access problems?
(BTW – i’m setting .wordpress.com back as my primary domain. Not yet ready to launch the new one)

If it works in one browser and not another it could definitely be caching, or a cookie issue.
You could try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies:

That did sort out the issue… for me.
However, I can’t expect that EVERY visitor to my site needs to refresh their cache and delete their cookies before they will be able to access it?

This was an issue specific to your browser – your visitors should not have trouble accessing your site.
