Add DNS record for kabbage.co.uk

  I’ve tried to add a Zone Record for the domain kabbage.co.uk but it asked me to contact support. Could you please add the Zone Record for me?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Kathryn, that’s great, thank you ver much. I also need to do the same for another blog, username is “konnective”, are you able to sort that for me, too? Also, is the ZONE RECORD the same as “A Record” – my ISP is Fasthost and that’s the term they’ve used?

  I’d be glad to add another zone record for a different domain. Could you please let me know what the domain is? It needs to end with dot-something, like .co.uk.

  Also, is the ZONE RECORD the same as “A Record” – my ISP is Fasthost and that’s the term they’ve used?

  They aren’t the same thing, so just let me know what you’re trying to accomplish and I’ll be glad to help further.

  Hi there, I’ve got the following from Fasthost:

  “We do apologise if there were inconveniences caused you here. However please be informed that we are not your name servers provider and therefore we can’t provide you the exact steps by steps instructions to configure your dns settings like MX record.

  Please do contact wordpress, your name servers provider so they can advised you how to do it into their control panel.

  You might need to add A record for this format.

  A mailserver 213.171.216.114″

  The domains I wish to be hosted by WordPress, with the emails remaining with FASTHOST, are:

  http://www.kabbage.co.uk

  http://www.konnective.co.uk

  Is this enough information?

  Hi there, I’ve added a zone record for the second domain – konnective.co.uk.

  If you’re trying to map these domains to your WordPress.com site(s) but use Fasthost for email, you’ll need to do two things:

  1) In your domain registrar’s control panel, set the nameservers to:

  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com

  2) In your WordPress.com administration area, under Store > Domains – click the Edit DNS link next to each domain for which you need email, and set up the email records provided by Fasthost.

  Did your host also provide an MX record? You’ll usually need at least one to set up email properly, in addition to the A record they provided.
