Add DNS record for webmail.expertfundraiser.org
-
I have the domain http://www.expertfundraiser.org registered through GoDaddy.com. I have already mapped the domain to my WordPress.com acccount. However, I need to access my webmail through GoDaddy, which carries the subdomain of webmail.expertfundraiser.org.
GoDaddy said that I would now need to add the DNS zonefile for this subdomain so that I could access my webmail @ webmail.expertfundraiser.org.
I’ve tried to add a Zone Record for the domain webmail.expertfundraiser.org but it asked me to contact support. Could you please add the Zone Record for me?
Thanks, Heidi Hale

Hi Heidi,
GoDaddy was not quite correct in their statement. The zone file is already present; you can edit it by visiting Store->Domains->Edit DNS in your site’s dashboard (direct link: https://expertfundraiser.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&action=dnsedit&domain=expertfundraiser.org )
It appears there is already a DNS entry for http://email.expertfundraiser.org that opens a webmail login.
For an entry for webmail (assuming the one in place isn’t right), we would need from GoDaddy either the CNAME or A record value needed based on their setup.
Thanks for using WordPress.com and please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else!
