Add DNS record for yourprojectmatters.com

info From my IT person below. Not receiving emails from anyone with email extension fultondevelopment.org
GoDaddy provides your email service. WordPress.com provides the domain name zone record for your domain name. This record tells the Internet what to do if someone requests your website or emails you. It basically directs the requester to the right web server or email server. So while GoDaddy provides your email service, WordPress’ service directs emails coming to your domain to GoDaddy. So someone in their zone record could be the issue.

I tried to pull up a SPF record for your domain and I couldn’t. This probably means a SPF record doesn’t exist on the domain. So yes, contact WordPress.com to have them add that to your domain name zone record. FEDCO’s email server may be rejecting emails to your domain because that record doesn’t exist.

  • Hi,

    I added
    TXT "v=spf1 mx ?all"
to your DNS manager, which you can edit via Store->Domains->Edit DNS in your Dashboard (direct link: https://yourprojectmatters.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&action=dnsedit&domain=yourprojectmatters.com )

This assumes that only GoDaddy’s servers listed as your mail provider in your DNS are the only servers that should be sending out e-mail on behalf of your domain. You can use a tool like http://www.spfwizard.net/ to modify the SPF entry if needed.

Please let me know if there’s anything else we can do for you!
