Add email address

  Dear WordPress folks,
  I would like to add a link to my email address within the body of the page. i.e. Please email jisen. Then one could simply click on my name for the email to come up. I don’t know how to do this and would appreciate help.

  That’s a very bad idea. A clickable email link means all the spammers and their scammy buddies can and will spam the heck out of your email address. What’s much better is creating a Page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ and placing a contact form on it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

  Hello!

  You can add an email address on your blog on a page by including the following code in the visual editor.

  <a href="mailto:(email visible only to moderators and staff)"> Email: (email visible only to moderators and staff) </a>

  Whereas, (email visible only to moderators and staff) is where you enter your email address.

  As I said above posting a clickable email link is like tossing down a welcome mat to spammers. If you insist upon doing so against all advice then scroll down to “Links containing the “at sign” ie the @ symbol” here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/#links-containing-the-at-sign-symbol

  Create a Page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ And know that the only instructions that will work for posting a PayPal donation button on a WordPress.com blog are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
