Add emails of friends?

  How do I add friends’ emails so they get a message when I post a new entry?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The best way to do that would be to send them a personal email and encourage them to enter their email address in the “subscribe” box on your WordPress.com site’s homepage.

  Thanks much. I was hoping I could send a mass emailing from the blog itself, but that will work too. Thanks again!
