Add Fail/Safe to "Publish" Button
-
I’d like to see a fail/safe opportunity when you push the “Publish” button on a post. It should give you a message saying, “Are you sure you want to Publish” — Yes or No. I have inadvertently hit the publish button too soon, and a message went out to hundreds of my followers, so they received a down-level article. I think a fail/safe message would be appropriate. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t have any issues with the set up as it is. We can select the exact visibility settings we want for any posts and pages before we click any link.

Nothing Found
It seems we cannot find what you are looking for. Perhaps try a search?There is nothing wrong with your site. By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the front page error message and searchbox that appears on every new WordPress.COM blog will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

Thank you for your response. I understand how to publish a post, but on one occasion, I pushed the “Publish” button in error and the article went live. I would like to avoid future errors by being asked the question “Do you really want to publish this post?”
You say there is nothing wrong with my site, but docmartinfansite.wordpress.com was changed to karengilleland.wordpress.com after the site was created.

@auxclass
I’m with you on that. I was so happy that the blog nanny ie. get instant feedback feature was nuked. That said, do note there are multiple threads in this case. The one in the Ideas Forum is here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/publish-button-fail-safe-opportunity?replies=5#post-2250285
