  • Hi there,

When it comes to adding files to a page, WordPress.com offers a great way to do it through the File block. This block allows you to insert a file directly on a page. If your file is a PDF, you can even embed it directly into the page so that your visitors can view it right on your site without needing to download it first.

Make sure to check out the types of files you’re allowed to upload to your WordPress.com site by visiting the following link: https://wordpress.com/support/accepted-filetypes/

Please note if you’re considering uploading video files to your page, the Personal plan won’t support this. You’d need to upgrade to the Premium plan to get access to video file uploads.

On the topic of folders, I’m afraid WordPress.com currently doesn’t support the ability to upload or create a folder on your site for visitors to browse. This functionality is possible with certain plugins, but do bear in mind that plugins can only be installed on sites that are on the Business plan.

If you decide that upgrading to the Business plan would suit your needs better, we’d be more than happy to help you find a plugin that enables folder creation on your site.

If you have any other questions or need further clarification, don’t hesitate to ask. We’re here to help.
