  It is possible to add custom footer text with a bit of custom CSS, but to do so will require upgrading to our WordPress.com Premium Plan.

  The ability to edit CSS is included in the Advanced Design Customization tools included in that plan, and you can find out more about what else it includes here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
