Add gallery to a page should be much easier

  I have just posted here — https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/cannot-add-a-gallery-to-a-page?replies=8
  — on how I could not get the “gallery button” to show, after reading and trying everything I could find in Help and on the forums.

  This is just so disappointing. Can’t this be made easier to implement?

  Images for galleries should be uploaded in the page or post that they are going to appear in, that way the images are “attached” to that particular post or page.

  I agree it would be nice to be able to simply select the images you want in a gallery from the media library. That would be a nice feature.
