Add Google Analytics

Hi, I read on the page https://wordpress.com/support/google-analytics/ on how to connect to Google Analytics. It says that This feature is available on sites with our WordPress.com Explorer, Creator, and Entrepreneur plans. If your site has one of our legacy plans, it is available on the Pro plan. So I paid the Explorer and it still says that I need to upgrade my plan and pay $300 annually. I would like to have my money back as it says fake information so you pay for a service that it’s NOT given.

    Hi there!

You don’t need to upgrade to the Creator plan to use Google Analytics. With your WordPress.com Explorer plan, you can add Google Analytics to your site.

I checked your site by going to the Tools → Marketing page and toggling the button under “Google Analytics.” It shows me the option to enter the Measurement ID. See the screenshot below for reference.

Can you tell me where you’re seeing the prompt to upgrade to the WordPress.com Creator plan to use Google Analytics?

I also suggest adding your own custom domain before setting up Google Analytics. With the yearly WordPress.com Explorer plan you purchased, you have access to a free domain registration for the first year. Please follow the steps below to register your free domain:
