Add Google text file to dns

Hello
My site isnt indexed by Google.
I am trying to verify the site via google search console.
I have the text file
google-site-verification=4elqB4WyRVj4Kf7gvlMSZnmCswTw-9Cr2P8aPvaDBNk
But cannot find the area to verify in my admin area.
Could you help please. Not much use having a site that Google cannot find.

You can find a support document regarding webmaster tools here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#google-search-console
To use Google site verification, you’ll need to select HTML tag in the Search Console: https://search.google.com/search-console/ownership
You’ll see a line of code that looks like this:
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="rc2RXSkjV5rz9P2s2hTwdDsnwTu4tD-gmruKUrqBGjs" />Copy the entire code, then head to your Traffic settings: https://wordpress.com/settings/traffic/
Toward the bottom of that page, you’ll see a section called Site Verification Services. Paste this code in the Google box.
