Add header to all pages.

    Hello WordPress community,

I’m hoping to find assistance with a header issue on my WordPress website. While reviewing the mobile version, I accidentally removed the main header from all pages. I was able to manually recreate and add a header to the homepage, but I’m not sure how to apply it accros the entire site again. When I try to do it manually, the header sits under the page title and don’t seem to be possible to edit it and place it below the header. The site was built in WordPress(initally with AI assistance), and I’ve been manually adjusting and refining ir as needed.

Any of you in the community would be able to guide me on the best way to restore the header sitewide?

    I appreciate any help!

    Best regards,

    Fred

    Hello Fred!

It sounds like the original header may have been removed from the site template, and the one you recreated was added inside the homepage content instead of in the template that controls the layout for all pages.

To restore the header across your entire site, you’ll want to add it back to the template:

    1. Click Edit Site in the top admin bar.
    2. Open the Templates section and edit whichever template is missing the header (maybe Page or Blog Home).
    3. At the top of the template, add a Header template part.
    4. Customize it as needed and save the template.

Once the header is part of the template again, it should appear automatically on all pages that use that template. After that, you can remove the header block that was manually added to the homepage.

Since your site is hosted with a third-party host, if you need more help you can also ask in the WordPress.org support forum or the support forum for your theme:
