Add (hidden) email address

  Can anybody tell me how to add my email address to my page without it showing up?
  I dont really like the spam that tends to come with visible emails.

  Depending upon your requirements the contact form might be what you want.

  I have a web app that generates an image of your email address which you can put on your blog/website. You might want to give it a try.

  The problem with email addresses in images is that people have to be really motivated to read and type them in again. I expect that a lot of people who would use a clickable email address or contact form wouldn’t bother with an email address as image.

  The problem with email addresses in images is that people have to be really motivated to read and type them in again. I expect that a lot of people who would use a clickable email address or contact form wouldn’t bother with an email address as image.

  Reading and typing email addresses is as “inconvenient” as reading and typing a captcha or filling out the fields in a comment form on your blog.

  If you want to make it really convenient for someone who wants to contact you, (if it’s available to you) then use a contact form. If you don’t care about getting your email address harvested, and therefore getting spammed, make the email address clickable. If you don’t want your email address to end up in a spammers DB, which in turn is sold to other spammers, and think your readers can manage reading an email image and typing it back, use an email address image. It’s really not a big of a task to make it that hard, and is not as inconvenient as you may think.

  Having said that, in the end, it’s all about choices. You’ll do what you think it’s best.
