Add hierarchical tags in Reader display

  Currently Reader displays one tag (gray text, lower left) per post. In the past it displayed a handful.

  I understand that the tag shown is the topic most used in that blog. Could more tags be shown next to it, for the second most used, third most, etc? There is lots of white space to the right of the current tag position.

  I’m not convinced that any Categories/Tags ought to be displayed in the Reader. If one is creating appropriate post titles that accurately reflect post content then the titles contain the keywords for the post. Consequently, assigning a category/tag to the post with the same keyword or keyword phrase is tag spamming AKA spamdexing.

  I lean toward having no tags shown in Reader, too, but I have no hope of that idea getting adopted.

  I’m not clear on the connection with spamdexing. In assigning a tag to a post that is also a word in the post title, couldn’t the author be just seeking to get it into Reader’s search result hits on that topic?
