Hey there, it sounds like you want to create an HTML signature.
Can I recommend the HTML block for that? Just click out of the Classic block, start a new line, then write:
/html
You’ll get an HTML block. You can put your signature in there and make it as you’d like it.
Then, consider adding that to your reusable blocks:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/reusable-block/If you save it and call it Signature, for example, you could just finish up each post like this:
/signatureAnd that would insert your signature for you. Then if you wanted to modify your signature across all posts, you could do that, too.

I tired to do what you said, but it doesn’t work. Also, there are no ‘visual’ and ‘htm’ tabs on the Classic Editor. Things used to be a lot easier b4 you changed everything, now the platform is NO longer user friendly

Hi there,
Your screenshot is showing the “classic block” and that does not include a “text” option as noted previously. if you are using the classic block and wish to switch to text, you can do so by inserting an HTML block.
Please note that using the classic block is not the same as using the native classic editor. That does have the visual/text tab you are looking for, and can be found by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/classic-editor-guide/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
