Is there a way to add a small graphic image to the side bar where the widgets are?

I do not have the “upload” option in my dashboard like the link shows.

Everytime I try to open a new text widget to paste an image code in the widget disappears reappearing in the the unused widget column. Why is this happening?? Ugh!

I am confused regarding putting an image in my sidebar. My dashboard does not look like the one shown in the link from asafios. How do I open a widget to put in an image?

The tutorial you’re trying to use needs to be updated for this new version- so it won’t look the same. I am looking for answers on how to add an image to a text widget, with a link to another website.

I am not able to find the url for the image I uploaded in order to create the link. Where did the upload urls go??

4given- did you figure your problem out yet? Try saving the new widget you dragged over before you add your stuff to the widget. Doing that worked for me. Now, i just want to be able to use the edit widget box that pops up- it’s truncated and under the center column, so I can’t see the full box. Grr!

my way is go to the widgets…. then find “TEXT or HTML” widget, then click ADD widget,
EDIT your newly added widget, put your image CODE, make sure it correct HTML code, oh and make sure it a correct URL image.
