Add Image to Sidebar in twentyten theme
-
How I do I add an image to the sidebar of the front page of my site? I’m using the twentyten theme. I’m able to squeeze it next to my text, but I’d like it to look more like a separate column on the right side. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

rachelgerstein – did galois’s suggestions help you out? I’m not seeing an image widget in your sidebar, but either of the methods he provided should work, so just let us know if you need further help.

I still can’t figure it out. Now I have 2 images and one is very distorted. Please help – thanks!

Looks like you figured out how to use the image widget, but the widget is pulling in the image’s height and width, which is too large to neatly fit in the sidebar.
You could try resizing your image in a graphics program first so that it’s smaller, but I have what may be a better aletrnative – try the Gallery widget instead:

Even though you only have one image, it’ll work well, I think. It’ll automatically resize your image, and open it in a larger version if you click the image.
Let me know how it goes!

Will these suggestions add the image to every page? I only want the image on the front page. Maybe “sidebar” is the wrong term. Thanks!
