Add Left sidebar to projects, all post and pages
-
I use the Luxury theme, and I have Projects set as a static Home page. I’m wondering if there is a way to add a sidebar to it. If not, is there a way to add a left sidebar to all Post and Pages pages that are not associated with my projects)? I have a left sidebar widget, but the only time the left sidebar is displayed is when I click on a category, or a tag, but never if a post , or page is clicked on. I can change the project attributes to 3 column, etc, but that really changes the appearance and layout in a way I don’t care for.
Another question, this one is related to posts. If I add to an existing post, is there a way to have it show as a new post? Thanks in advance!

Themes either have sidebars designed into them or they do not. Adding one may be possible via an upgrade so you can do CSS editing or not.

http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/luxuryWe wordpress.com bloggers do not have access to the template files underlying our themes on wordpress.COM hosted blogs and cannot edit them. This is a multiuser blogging platform. All blogs wearing the same theme use the same underlying template found on the live demo site for each theme.
Does Customize let me edit HTML?
No. Customize allows you to edit fonts, colors, and CSS only. You can change the appearance of a theme, but not its HTML markup or PHP code. If you require this functionality, please consider moving your blog to a web host that supports theme code modifications. You can read more about why here http://support.wordpress.com/code/, and find a suitable host here http://get.wp.com/hosting/.

I purchased the premium Luxury theme which has 3 sidebars, so no need to upgrade. I wasn’t asking if I could add a new one, as in creating one via css, I was asking if I can add one that is included with the theme to projects. I’ll repost in the Luxury Theme forum.
