Add link doesn´t work

  I have been trying to add links to my blog (basis theme) by clicking “add link” in text, copying an address and saving. Nothing appears on the visual page and when I click back to text, the link is gone. It seems not to be saving the link.
  I have tried writing in the link by hand and that works fine but misses some of the features, like “open link in new tab”.

  Have you remembered to choose anchor text for the link? What is the specific link you are having difficulty adding? Sounds like it’s code that’s being stripped out rather than a straightforward link. Paste it here so we can look at it.

  I see no reason that wouldn’t work.

  You say you’re doing this:

  clicking “add link” in text, copying an address and saving.

  You dont’ say anything about highlighting anchor text. You have to pick a word or image, select it, then add the link, to attach the link to the text like this.
