"add link" kicks me out of editor session

I’m editing a new blog post and trying to add a hyperlink to an external web page. When the “Insert/Edit Link” dialog comes up, I enter the URL and then click on the bottom right hand corner button “Add Link”.
This results in a redirect to https://apapadop.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php – where I see a list of all posts. In the meantime my draft has been abandoned, with no changes saved and the link NOT captured.
In short, right now it’s impossible for me to insert hyperlinks in my blog.
Using Firefox 10 with 3rd party cookies not allowed, scripts from all WP domains (incl. quantserve) allowed except gravatar.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m having the exact same problem. It started happening seemingly out of nowhere. I deactivated the most recent plugins but still nothing. It’s driving me nuts! I’ve never encountered this before.
I’ll let you know if I figure it out!

Instead of clicking the the add link button at top of editor, right click where you want to insert link and select insert/edit link.

@raincoaster: I have allowed 3rd party cookies to no avail. The behaviour is still the same.
@ jborhez: Not sure what browser/editor you use but I can’t right-click and get a WP context menu – just my browser menu. So your suggestion doesn’t work for me.
