Add links to bottom of Modularity Lite Theme

  I am using the one-column modularity lite theme for my photo blog. I would like to add links to the bottom of my home page. I know I can add a links widget to the sidebar but I don’t want to reduce the size of my images by employing the two column width. I’ve seen links on other modularity lite sites, so I know it can be done! Please help!

  Links > Add New: create the links.
  Appearance > Widgets: click Footer 1/2/3/4 to open, drag&drop Links widget.
