    Hi there
Right now I have a huge logo ‘Lucky in Love Wedding Celebrant’ in the top header area – but I would like to display it smaller on the left side as well as including a ‘Book now’ action button.
    How do I do this?
    Thanks in advance : )

The site I need help with is luckyinlovemarriagecelebrant.wordpress.com.

    Hi there,

I see you are using an older theme of ours (Twenty Eleven) which is not terribly customizable. With this in mind there is not really a way to add a “call to action” button to your site easily. Instead I would actually recommend using this opportunity to switch to a newer theme, such as one of the themes you see here. They are all designed to work with our block editor, which is a way to create page layouts that works similar to Legos, but with text and image “blocks”

We actually have a few themes for businesses that specifically feature a call to action section (with button) to the homepage of the site by default. You may wish to try this one, which already uses a pink accent color similar to what you use in your current branding: https://wordpress.com/theme/stow/

I also like this one a lot. It has a similar layout to the theme I suggested above: https://wordpress.com/theme/hever

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

staff-totoro thank you! Appreciate your time.
If I changeout the theme – will the content and formatting still remain?
Or do I need to start from scratch?

Changing themes will only change the overall design of your site. The content of your posts and pages won’t be affected in any way. Think of it as like putting a picture in a new frame – the picture itself doesn’t change :)

P.S. some of our newer themes have an option to automatically create a new homepage on your site with the theme’s demo page content and layout, in the process setting any existing homepage to draft, or moving your posts to a separate page if your front page displays your posts.

When selecting a theme with this option you’ll see an overlay appear asking what you want to do – just select the option to keep your current homepage content if you don’t want it to make this change.
