I have a similar problem with the new “add media” section. Can´t find where to add ned media at all (Mac Os 10.4.11, Firefox 2.0.0.14 and Safari 3.0.4). Also the media that I have alreday added from before is in a state of total disorder. The new design is, in my eyes, far from as easy to understand as the old one.

galagowear, There are some installs of IE7 that are reporting that they are both IE6 and IE7. This is causing a problem with the upload popup box where it’s shifted down to the bottom of the screen. A bug has been submitted to core WordPress for the problem. Can you try using Firefox?

peterhsorensen, You should see a row of button above the normal editor toolbar on the Write/Edit screen. There are several Add Media buttons there. Can you explain the problems you are having with your old uploads?

I am having the same problem. The pop up screen is too low and there is no scroll function. I am wondering if it’s not a problem with theme I’ve chosen as I notice another blog of mine with a different theme seems to work. The one with the problem is Digg 3. I am using Firefox…so it doesn’t sound like a browser issue.

I am also having the same problem. The pop up screen is too low and there is no scroll function. I have tried using IE and FireFox with the same result. The problem just started today.

just found a solution in another post.. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=27582&replies=2
clear the browser history and reload the page. did it and it seems to be working now! =) -
This is going to sound really dumb, and yes I’m an old dinosaur – but where do I find the browser cache to clear it?

If you go to your Settings or Control Panel, you’ll see Internet Options. Double click on that and it’ll bring up a box where you can clear your cache and cookies. Do both. I’d also log out of WP.com and restart the computer too. Then come back and everything should work for you.

Thanks raincoaster! Haven’t started uploading yet, but I’ve certainly got the full screen back. Cheers.
