ADD MEDIA-Bug? Please help.

Can’t ADD MEDIA. Cleared Chrome browser cache and cookies. Shut off computer and switched on again. Same problem. Dialogue box does not pop up. Add Contact/Poll works. Only Add Media doesn’t work. Please help.

Not just add media.
The pop-up to add a link in a post isn’t appearing either. Was working for me 24 hours ago.

Hm, and switching to the Text Editor, all the regular code buttons are gone as well.

Same problem. I can’t add media or a link to a previous post. Using Internet Explorer. My blog is http://www.jeanraffa.wordpress.com

I cannot add links in editor mode too. Could someone please say how i can fix this

I have the same problems too. The “Add Media” and “Link and Unlink” buttons are not working. Now My embeded Mp3s are not showing up in my previews too! I’m using Firefox.

And now that I’ve used that link, my “insert/edit link” pop up is back, as well as the add media button. I didn’t even log out or empty my browser cookies/cache.
Everyone, please see if you are now able to access the Add Media button.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the reports here. I’m not experiencing issues currently in Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. As JustJennifer mentioned, can everyone try clearing their cache as described here?
If you’re still having issues after clearing your cache, can you please try another browser just to be sure this isn’t isolated to a single browser? Then, please post here listing the current browser and browser version you’re using? You can find the browser info by visiting the following site:

Hi jeremey-it seems this was a temporary glitch for a few hours, perhaps while something else was being worked on by Staff in the background.
If you look at any of the threads I tagged with “Add Media” you’ll see that IE, Chrome, FF and Safari were affected. As mysteriously as it appeared, it seems to have cleared up for the majority of users.
