add media button changed since 11/27/12 and I don't know how to insert image.

  My “add media” option has changed to a large window that isn’t allowing me to drag and drop an image into the post, though I’ve done this hundreds of times before.

  I was editing a post and noticed that the “add Media” button was wider and larger than usual. When I clicked, dragged & dropped the image, the catch space was the window rather than a dash-outlined box, but I wasn’t given any other option. There is no followup option to insert the image and it’s not on the post. I am confused. The same change for add media is also changed on my photoblog so is there a change/glitch with this option?
