add media button doesn't work

My ‘add media’ button doesn’t work, when I click it, nothing changes. I’ve tried to do so on a new post, but also edit already published one – the same. Also, when I type a tak and press enter, the page saves changes… Weird, isn’t it? Please, help!

I normally use AOL, which isn’t allowing me to add media. But I went to IE, and I could upload pics.

I’m having the same problem… can’t upload an image and tags are not working. Does anyone have a solution?

It works for me (as I posted earlier) with IE. But I don’t like IE. I’m hoping the add media button will begin working with AOL again soon…

I am also having an issue adding images to my post. I was able to upload to the media library, but add media button does nothing when i click from within a post…

I hanged from IE to Chrome – it seems as WP changed some plugins and they don’t work with IE. So, the best solution is to change the browser and wait for WP to update their site:)

In order to help you we need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through what follows and report back.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

4. Try using another browser.

(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.

I too have this problem.
When I attempt to “Insert Link” I can put in the required info but when I click “Add Link” the page returns to my “All Posts”
In addition when I attempt to “Add Media” or “Add Poll” apart from a dark line around each one nothing happens.
Any suggestions?

Howdy,
We’re working an issue that developed that’s impacting folks using Internet Explorer 9.0. While we’re getting this fixed, would it be possible to either upgrade to IE 10 or to use Firefox or Chrome?

Thanks for your patience. We’ve fixed up the issue, so while we encourage you to use Internet Explorer 10 or the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, or Safari, IE 9 works as expected again.
