Add Media Button not working

I have 99% of my space available, but when I click Add Media to add a PowerPoint nothing happens. I tried to go through the Library and added the powerpoint to the list of media, but then I can’t attach it to the page I want it attached to. It says Unattached, and when I click “Attach”, it doesn’t bring up a list of pages to select from. I type in the page name and still nothing happens.

yes. cleared my cache and did force refresh. still nothing. IT guy here says the add media gravatar is disabled from the website. How do I get that fixed?

I am having exactly the same problem. Not sure what’s going on, as it has always worked well in the past.

Which browser and version of it are you using? Have your tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

I cleared my cache, I updated Firefox, and updated Adobe. Add Media still doesn’t work. My IT person here at school said it appeared to him that the gravatar was disabled from the website. How do we fix that?

still doesn’t work for me and I see lots of other forums started for the same reason. Is anyone at wordpress fixing this problem? I’m about to change to Dropbox instead. My students need access to these files.

Today I tried using https:// instead of http:// and it worked.

timethief, glad it’s working for cpcframework, but it’s still not working for the many people that have started other forums on this problem, including me. It’s been a week. The support page says the support team is out of the office til Oct 29. Do we have to wait for them to get back to get this problem fixed? That will be 10 days from the start of the problem. That’s a bit much.
