Add media button not working

How come every time I click add media nothing happens? It has been doing this for the past two days.

In order to help you we need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through what follows and report back.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

4. Try using another browser.

(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.

(c) And what any error reports you receive state. -
I’m on my laptop and all my problem is, is every time I click add media button it doesn’t do anything. I’ve been using WordPress for a while now and the same way and I don’t know why it won’t let me click it. This assignment is due later on today and I’ve been trying to add it for the last few days. So I guess you could say I’m really disappointed

Have you tried using another browser like Firefox 25 which you can get here http://browsehappy.com ?

Please make sure that you have cookies enabled in your browsers (http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/) and that you don’t have any ad blocker or other extensions running that might interfere.
Please try those first, and then timethief’s other suggestions, and if you still run into trouble, please let me know. It would be helpful to know which browsers and browser versions you’ve tried and if anything changes for you when you switch between them.

One more thing that would really help us pin this issue down.
Please report which browser(s) and browser versions you’re using, and please check for javascript errors in the browser.

(you can disregard steps 1 & 2 on that page, and just look for steps on finding errors in your particular browser).
