'Add Media' button on a new post not working at all!!

  My ‘Add Media’ button is not working at all. When creating a new post and the I press the ‘Add Media’ button the cursor simply jumps back up to the title box of the new post. Please help, I have gone to the forums but with no luck and I use this site almost everyday for my business. I have never had any issues with this before and always add and edit imagery with no problems until now.

  Hi Andrea. That does sound weird and frustrating. It doesn’t sound like any bug that’s been reported, though, so the first things to try are always these, which make sure that there’s not a software glitch on your end (browsers can be buggy, especially if it’s been a while since things have been restarted):
  1. Clear your browser cache.
  2. Restart your browser.
  3. Restart your computer.

  If you have done all three of these things and are still experiencing the same issue, please let me know. Hopefully one of these steps will set things right on your computer and make things work properly, though.

  Thank you so much for responding. It was definitely an issue on my end as my partner, who has an art blog via wordpress, had no problems unploading images on my computer when he signed into his account. I did as you suggested, however it made no difference. I ended up changing browsers (if thats the right term!) I changed from using google crome to fire fox and for some reason I had no issues uploading images onto a new post via that. So I still dont know why but for some reason on my account via google crome the ‘add media’ button just does not work! At least I can now get back to posting, thanks firefox!!

  That is really weird…. usually Chrome is a great browser. I’m glad you’re able to post via Firefox, though!
