Add Media Error Message
-
It started today and I never before got an error message that media would not load. I can pick media from the library but can’t add to the library from my files on my computer. I deleted several pictures from the library to free up space but that didn’t work. I’m not a tech oriented so be warned.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Update your web browser. IE9 is outdated and no longer works with WP.com. Update it or use a different browser, like Firefox.

@Babypalms – I use Chrome too. I also tried uploading using Firefox and it wouldn’t work. I don’t normally use IE but I tried it just to see and that didn’t work either. So now I’m back to Chrome and it still isn’t working. Thanks for posting your issue.

my web site is on godaddy….greendougherty.com and my blog is also hosted on godaddy. I got used to the stats and then all of a sudden, nothing. My web site and blog were down for 5 days. I heard all the BS about plugins and that for them to fix the blog, they had to delete the plugins??? I finally got the web site and blog working again two days ago. I was upset that I lost all those clicks, 90,000 plus but life goes on.
Then today when I started to use the blog again, I experienced the ‘Add Media” error message. I googled and got here but don’t seem to get an answer that a novice…that’s me…to be able to get comfortable using the blog and dealing with substituting a link or something for what I would use for media. Pictures is what draws them in and finding a substitute for a picture may pose a problem.

I’ve googled this issue too but I only get links to wordpress.org resolutions and I don’t have a hosted website – just the blog with my domain name.
I was hoping to pay WordPress to transfer my blog over to .org by next Spring but now I don’t know….

I have three other Word Press blogs. One is the https://doughertyspalms.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=378&action=edit&message=6&postpost=v2 and I just published it and with four pictures that were loaded with no problems. At this point, I think it’s something to do with godaddy on my end.
