Add media feature problems

  Hi,

  I’d been using the add media button on the site successfully for the past week, but then started having problems with it as of yesterday. I upload the file, and it looks like it’s embedded in my post, but then it doesn’t play. Is this a common problem? Is there another way I should be embedding an mp4 file?

  You need VideoPress upgrade to be able to upload videos to your blog. You can check more info about VideoPress here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/

  I have the wordpress premium, which includes being able to post mp4s. I folllowed the instructions on the audio support page on how to upload and embed a file, but when i press play on the embedded player, nothing happens. I tried it via the videopress instructions as well and it still isn’t working. also, my edit media page looks different from the screenshot on the videopress support page.

  woops. Didn’t mean to submit yet. When I say it looks different from the videopress support page, when I open edit media, there is no field that reads “shortcut for embedding.”
