Add Media/Text Editor/Tag buttons disabled

    Hi all, I see many people have had this problem, but I’ve pretty much troubleshot through it: In my WP account and another set of credentials, the Add Media, Text Editor, and Add Tags abilities don’t work. They simply don’t do anything. I am running a Macbook Air using Big Sur and working with Chrome and Safari.

    I have:
    – cleared my browser cache and purged all caches in the site
    – tried switching accounts, browsers, and opening an incognito window
    – ensured that js is enabled
    – not changed any plugins or cookie settings since the site worked
    – asked someone else with access to log in to the site and see if they can replicate the issue. They’re on a mac using Chrome and it’s working fine for them. So no, it’s not plugins.

    Help?

    Is this for https://skepchick.org/?

    That site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.

    Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:
