Add media to reply on someone else's blog?

I cannot figure out how to add a photo to a comment on someone else’s blog. I see others have done it and I know how to add photos to my own blog but not on someone else’s.

As over 80% of what’s submitted as comments to wordpress.COM blogs every day is spam, it’s a good thing that we cannot just post images into comment boxes, because if we could there would be an issue with porno images. See here please https://en.support.wordpress.com/comments/embeds/

As an Admin of a blog, one can set up comment moderation first https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/#comment-moderation. Then your visitors can submit URLs to images hosted somewhere online into comments on your posts. Then you can moderate your comments approve them or not just as you do any comment.

Ok here’s the deal- another blogger made a post on her blog and asked for replies/replies w/photos. Other people replied, some had photos on their replies. When I’m typing in the reply/comment box there is nothing to indicate how to insert a photo but obviously it can be done because several people did. This isn’t an issue of the blogger allowing them, I need step by step how to add it in the reply/comment box. I’ve tried on desktop and mobile but there is no add media feature- and copy/paste doesn’t work.

You cannot directly insert an image.
You can provide the URL to an image that’s already hosted somewhere online in the comment box.
Are you clear on that now? -
I guess it’s not, hence my question. Do I just type the url because that didn’t seem to work. I want to understand what those people did to make their photos and videos show up in the comment box.

I have no idea what the URL of the site in question is, which software it runs on, and how it is set up. Why don’t you contact that blogger and ask them?
