Add my Logo to “Dusk” theme

  I’d like to add my logo in place of the square black header on the “Dusk” theme. How can I do this? I’m an avid designer and can save pix in any format and size – but I’m not a CSS programmer. Help!

  Okay, what you need to do is go to your Dashboard

  Go to Presentation> Check the secondary row of links, if you will. You should see Themes, Extras, etc. Custom header image should be right there and you can upload an image.

  About not knowing CSS – that’s not a problem, you don’t need to use any CSS as it is. To do that you have to purchase an inexpensive upgrade to do that, and it sounds like you haven’t. See if that helps.

  Dusk doesn’t allow custom headers. You might want to check engtech’s blog to see what darker themes do allow it.

  You could do it with the CSS upgrade. The top bar is defined with the #header and the pic at the top of your sidebar is within the #sidebar. Would be fairly simple.

  Thanks guys..drmike..I have my image hosted…what would the CSS code be to change the header?

  #sidebar { background: url(“The URL of the image”) no-repeat top right; }`

  That should work as it’s taken directly from your current CSS. You may have to fiddle with it a bit.
